Train skills for a Thorax and u can fit 5 miners II and with a few harvesters added u can mine loads. I think it's stupid to buy a 90 mill miner.

Learning the social skill helps also. It gives a 5% bonus per level to NPC standings.

I locked and shot a gang member when joking around in 0.5 space while mining. The police did came after me and had to warp to bookmarks for about 10 minutes.
